Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Monday and six Tuesday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
Two withdrawals from an automated teller machine (ATM) were made using a Great Bend resident’s financial card, it was reported Tuesday.
A vehicle driven by David Ibarra was northbound in the 1400 block of Broadway at 12:08 p.m. Tuesday and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Tierney Mermis.
A known person allegedly threatened to hit another person with a pipe wrench, Tuesday night in the 1400 block of 22nd St.
A hit-and-run vehicle was backing eastbound at 11:22 p.m. Tuesday in the Baltzell Motel parking lot at 705 10th St. and hit a trailer. A suspected driver was identified.
A known person allegedly forged checks at 2716 10th St.

Barton County Sheriff
An attempted phone scam was reported. A caller told a Barton County resident the U.S. government would give her a $7,000 grant if she paid her bills on time.
A vehicle was seen driving through fields near NE 10 Ave. and NE 10 Road at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday, and was stopped by a BCSO deputy on North Washington. The owner of the property will check for possible damage.
