Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Wednesday.
At 7:23 a.m. units responded to a diesel spill just east of the DOT office. A tractor trailer was headed west into town and ran over a mud flap in the middle of the road and punctured his fuel tank. It was estimated that 40 gallons had leaked out. Units tried to plug the leak but were unsuccessful do to amount of fuel leaking. Oil dry down was used to damn the fuel until hazmat team responded.

A Glock 17 was stolen at 1500 Lakin Ave.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer at 10th St., and Kiowa Road.
