Kansas Highway Patrol
A sport utility vehicle rolled three times during an accident at 1:25 p.m. Friday in Pawnee County, about a mile west of Burdett on K-156. Geraldine K. Larson, 63, of Hays was driving the westbound Chevrolet Trailblazer. She thought an eastbound Toyota Camry was coming into her lane to pass. She responded by going off the edge of the road and was unable to get the SUV back under control. She was wearing a seat belt. Larson was taken to the hospital in Jetmore with possible injury.

A woman reported being battered by an unknown male Thursday evening, somewhere on Eighth St.

Multiple construction zone A-lights on K-4 between milepost 133 and 134 were shot, it was discovered Thursday evening.
A motorist driving a black GMC truck reported that he hit another black truck at 9 p.m. Thursday, at the intersection of NW 30 Road and NW 20 Ave., and the other driver left the scene. The GMC driver said he would need a tow. The other driver, in a black Dodge truck, reported being chased by a black truck at about 90 mph, and said his truck was rear-ended at NW 10 Ave. and NW 20 Road.
A known juvenile allegedly kicked in the back door on a Ford F-350 at 593 NW 10 Ave.
A pickup hit a deer on K-96 near milepost 177 at 5:37 a.m. Friday.
