Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Thursday.
There was one fire call; at 2:01 p.m. they responded to 87 SW 10 Ave. for a controlled burn that was out of control. It was back under control when they arrived.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer at 6:09 a.m. Thursday (not 6:09 p.m. as reported in Friday’s On The Record) at NW 170 Road an NW 120 Ave., 2 miles west an 2 miles south of Galatia on the blacktop.
Theft of a four-wheeler from 110 SE 10 Road reportedly occurred sometime around midnight last Sunday.
A burglary was reported at 616 Windmill Lane. Someone broke into the residence Wednesday night, and items were missing.
A two-vehicle accident on west U.S. 56 and Main St., Dundee, was reported at 4:11 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies investigated a possible burglary in progress when it was reported at 4:07 a.m. Friday on NW 120 Ave.

Great Bend Police
Vehicles driven by Gladys Apel and Lucas Bosquez collided at 12:48 p.m. Thursday at 24th and Williams.
An injury accident was reported at 2:40 p.m. at 24th and Main. Vehicles driven by Renee McVey and Beverly Cregger collided.
Vehicles driven by Karolina Hammeke and Lisa Wright collided at 4:11 p.m. in the 3900 block of 10th St.
A motorist was southbound in the parking lot of the Family Dollar store at 1015 10th St. at 4:24 p.m. when the brakes failed, and the vehicle hit the building. The driver, later identified at Paula Novack, was located with the vehicle at 8th and Hickory. She was arrested on two outstanding warrants for failure to appear, in lieu of $450  and $200 bond.
Medication was reportedly stolen from a home at 401 3rd St.
A tool box was reportedly stolen from 2013 Baker Ave.
A bicycle was reportedly stolen from 1017 1/2 Odell St.
A motorist in a white sport utility vehicle left Love’s Country Store, 1221 10th St., without paying for $75.02 in fuel, around 12:06 a.m. Friday.
