Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters responded to 3318 18th St. last Wednesday to check a leaking gas meter that had been hit by a vehicle.
There was a small grass fire in the 300 block of Pine At. at 3:36 p.m. Sunday.
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Friday, seven Saturday and five Sunday.

Great Bend Police
Unknown persons stole $703 from a Great Bend resident’s financial account, it was reported Friday.
Unauthorized use of a credit card by unknown persons was reported.
An ongoing theft from Dillon’s, 4107 10th St., was reported.
A burglary at 1427 20th St. was reported. Tools were taken from a garage; loss was $400.
An aggravated assault allegedly occurred at 4:46 a.m. Saturday at 2549 McBride Parkway. The suspect left before officers arrived. At 9:23 p.m., a different male was arrested at the residence for alleged possession of marijuana.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 2810 18th St.
Twenty-three gallons of diesel fuel were stolen from vehicles at 5520 10th St. was reported Saturday.
Someone keyed two vehicles at 2820 Meadowlark Lane, causing an estimated $1,600 in damage.
Two westbound vehicles, driven by Harlan Maier and Sabrina Loreg, collided at 10th and Harrison at 12:08 p.m. Saturday.
Tools were taken from the house at 713 Holland St.
A GBPD officer responded to the Great Bend Regional Hospital Emergency Room at 11:51 p.m. Saturday, and took a report of a sex offense for Russell County. The alleged offense occurred at Wilson Lake.

Barton County Sheriff
A subject reported losing a firearm in the river, Friday in the 400 block of SW 60 Ave.
A window was broken and a stereo was stolen from a vehicle at 31 SE 10 Road, sometime after 5 p.m. Thursday.
A pump was stolen from 2199 Susank Road.
BCSO, Kansas Highway Patrol and Ellinwood Police Department responded to a report of a subject firing a gun from a vehicle on SE 20 Road at 8:29 p.m. Friday.
Thirty alfalfa bales were reportedly stolen from 370 SW 20 Ave.
A vehicle hit a deer at 10:45 p.m. Friday, on K-4 at milepost 125.
Tools were stolen from a shed at 778 West U.S. 56.
A male prisoner was taken to Larned State Hospital at 12:47 a.m. Sunday, after reportedly attempting to hang himself at the jail.
