Great Bend Fire/EMS
A fire in a trash can at 3407 10th St. was extinguished at 10:09 p.m. Tuesday.
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Tuesday.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Brandi Zuerge struck a parked vehicle at 2334 Main at 9:35 a.m. Monday.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a vehicle at 3503 10th St.
A Great Bend resident reported someone withdrawing $965.99 from a financial card; another resident reported unauthorized use of a debit card resulting in $89.11 loss, and there was a similar case where the loss was $75.96.
Nike sunglasses valued at $162.40 were stolen from 2601 10th St.
A lock box was stolen from 1105 Stone St. Loss was $420.
Theft of a Farmers Bank debit card was reported.
An identity theft case was taken Tuesday when a Great Bend resident reported someone opening a debit card in his name without permission.
A known person allegedly passed forged checks at 3809 10th St.
A vehicle driven by Matt Deschner backed into a parked vehicle at 2201 Monroe St. at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday.

Barton County Sheriff's Office
An abandoned boy’s bicycle was found Monday in a ditch in the 1100 block of NW 90 Ave.
Someone broke into several outbuildings at 573 NE 30 Road, taking items.
An Oldsmobile hit a deer on NE 30 Road at NE 20 Ave. and 10:16 p.m. Monday.
A Toyota Tundra hit a deer on U.S. 281 near milepost 119, causing damage under $1,000, at 11:40 p.m. Monday.
A Pontiac Grand Am hit a deer on K-96 near milepost 166 at 5:46 a.m. Tuesday.
The BCSO K-9 assisted a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday, at SW 80 Ave. and West U.S. 56. Suspected drugs were located.
