Kansas Highway Patrol
A 1981 Airtractor 301 crop duster made a crash landing Wednesday in Rice County, shortly before 4 p.m.. The pilot, Edward C. Smith, 54, from Lecompton not injured.
Smith was flying east spreading chemical when the plane contacted the ground near 1250 Ave. Q and 12th Road.

Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Wednesday. There were no fires.
