Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Friday, three Saturday and four Sunday.
At 10:45 a.m. Friday, units responded to 2209 McCormick St. for the smell of smoke in the home. There was a light haze of smoke in the home, coming from the wall furnace.
They performed one carbon monoxide check on Saturday.

Great Bend Police
On Friday someone at First Kansas Bank, 4001 10th St., reported receiving a fake $50 bill.
An injury accident occurred at 11:15 a.m. Friday at 17 St. and K-96. A vehicle driven by Charles Likes collided with a vehicle driven by John Keeler. The Barton County Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic control.
An SD card (secure digital memory card) was reportedly stolen from 2101 Washington.
A non-injury accident was reported at 2:45 p.m. Friday at 910 McKinley St.
Money was reportedly stolen from 926 Madison St.
A dog bite was reported Friday evening in the 2200 block of 26th St.
Vehicles driven by James Price and Brian Schridde collided at 1:20 p.m. Saturday at 3519 10th St.
Vehicles driven by Martin Grisby and Amelia Maze collided at 10:58 p.m. Saturday at 4800 10th St.
A gas skip was reported at 1:25 a.m. Sunday at 2716 10th St. A suspect was identified.
At 6:40 a.m. Monday, police received a report that a hit-and-run vehicle had hit a vehicle at 1907 Jackson St.

Barton County Sheriff
Criminal damage to a 2014 Dodge Ram at 429 Pawnee Ave. in Pawnee Rock was reported Friday afternoon.
A 2004 Chevy pickup hit a deer at 8:47 p.m. Friday on NE 100 Ave. and NE 80 Road, near Cheyenne Bottoms.
A 2000 Pontiac Grand Am hit a deer at 9:55 p.m. Friday on NW 130 Ave. and NW 70 Road.
At 10:44 a.m. Friday, a pursuit was reported at Patton Road and Eisenhower Ave. in Great Bend. Four officers responded.
A vehicle hit a deer at 11:22 p.m. Friday on NW K-96 and NW 90 Ave., 3-4 miles east of Albert.
A hit-and-run accident was reported Sunday afternoon at 209 West First St. in Ellinwood.
