Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs on Monday. There was one fire call.
At 3:32 a.m. units responded to a vehicle fire at 220 Heizer. Upon arrival, units found a full size pick up with fire coming from the engine and passenger compartment between two garages. The fire was extinguished and the two garages were checked for any extension and found none. The 1995 Chevrolet pick-up was a total loss and is under investigation to what caused the fire.

Great Bend Police
Criminal damage was reported at 2607 28th St. A vehicle window was damaged.
Theft was reported at Walmart located at 3503 10th St.
A narcotics violation was reported at Walmart located at 3503 10th St.
Criminal damage was reported at 2525 11th St. A window was broke at a residence.

Barton County Sheriff
A non-injury accident was reported at 170 Road and U.S. 281.
Theft of batteries was reported at 551 SW 120 Ave. in Pawnee Rock.
An injury accident was reported at St. Johns Catholic Cemetery located at 1099 NW 10 Ave. in Hoisington.
