A known person allegedly shoplifted food from the Presto Convenience Store, 2337 Washington St.
Unlawful use of a financial card was reported.
The Golden Belt Humane Society was called to removed a puppy that was under a vehicle in the 400 block of Hickory St. and would not come out, Monday evening.

A wreck on the blacktop outside Otis was reported at 6:34 p.m. Monday. No one was hurt. The call was referred to Rush County.
