Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Wednesday, six on Thursday, five on Friday, five on Saturday and 13 on Sunday. There was one fire call.
At 11:58 a.m. on Thursday units responded to several small grass fires in the ditch along northwest K-96 believed to be caused by a vehicle driving by with a possible hot brake. Units were on the scene for over an hour

A non-injury accident was reported at Broadway Avenue and Harrison Street.
Criminal damage was reported at 301 Locust St. A door was damaged.
Theft of an IPhone was reported at Cornerstone interiors located at 1405 Main St.

Theft of fuel was reported at Casey’s General Store located at 2716 10th ST.

Burglary was reported at 2600 Adams St.
An injury accident was reported at 9th and McKinley Street.

A non-injury accident was reported in the 700 Block of SE 20 Road in Ellinwood. A vehicle hit a deer.

Theft was reported at NW 130 Ave.
Burglary was reported at 2221 Patton Road. Tools were stolen from a barn.

Theft was reported at the Barton County Landfill located at 350 NE 30 Road.
A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 107 on North U.S. 281. A vehicle hit a deer.
A non-injury accident was reported in the 300 Block of U.S. 281.
