Barton County Sheriff
At 2:50 p.m. Saturday, BCSO received a report that a truck on the south side of the sand pit at 694 Harrison, Great Bend, appeared to have been destroyed by fire. A case was taken.
At 9:48 p.m. Saturday, it was reported that a woman was battered at 64 NE 21 Rd.
A rural Hoisington man reported accidentally shooting himself in the thigh late Sunday on his farm, after tripping while carrying a small .22 in his pocket.

Great Bend Police
Two tires on a car at 1101 Eisenhower Ave. were cut, it was reported Friday. Loss was $200.
Vehicles driven by Kelly Storm and Jose Prieto collided at 9th and Morton at 1:26 p.m. Friday.
An assault at the Barton County Jail, 1408 Kansas Ave., was reported at 12:36 a.m. Saturday.
A dog was reportedly stolen from 2101 27th St.
A vehicle driven by Bill Brack hit the KFC building, 2717 10th St., at 10:56 a.m. Sunday.
A satellite receiver was reportedly stolen off a camper on 5th St.
Vehicles driven by Brandon LeRoy and James Debes collided at 1:04 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of 10th St.
A known person allegedly stole a can of Red Bull from the Kwik Shop at 2334 Main and was served a notice to appear in municipal court.

Teen reportedly raped
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report that a 14-year-old girl was raped last month at an unknown location in the county.
Capt. Bruce Green said the girl was allegedly raped on or about Oct. 20. Reno County Sheriff’s Office received information and shared it with the BCSO on Friday.
