Theft of a license tag at Barton Community College was reported Tuesday.
A battery at 1400 Main St. was reported at 2:33 p.m.

Great Bend Police
Theft of auto parts from 4820 10th St. was reported Tuesday.
Kansas Gas Services reported theft of services at 224 Heizer St.
Someone damaged a window on a vehicle at 422 Walnut St.
A Kansas license tag was turned in as found property from an unknown location in Great Bend.
A search warrant was executed at 4:25 p.m. on a 1992 Cadillac at 510 Morton St. Items were collected and booked into evidence.
An officer found a 2014 decal which was duplicated at 1500 19th St. It was collected and booked into evidence.
A vehicle driven by Carrie Conner backed into a parked vehicle at 2829 10th St. at 5:03 p.m.
A vehicle driven by Justin Hawthorne struck a parked vehicle in the Walmart parking lot at 5:17 p.m.
Someone shot the window on a pickup at 2703 Forest Ave.
A rock was thrown through a front window at 2812 Gano St.
A theft at 325 Locust St. was reported. It was allegedly committed by someone who claimed to be “with the power company.”
At 6:51 a.m. Wednesday, a female at 2210 26th St. reported her car window had been shot out.

Kansas Highway Patrol
A Wichita man died Tuesday when hit was hit by an unknown motorist on U.S. 50, about 0.2 miles west of Stafford.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports Christopher L. Burton-Scott, 39, worked for a tow company and was out securing a disabled tour bus to the tailer with safety chains at 5:50 p.m. An unknown westbound vehicle struck Burton-Scott, who was standing along the fog line at the rear of the trailer.
