Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Wednesday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Debra Berkley struck a parked vehicle at 8:52 a.m. Wednesday in the 4100 block of Lakin Ave.
Forgery cases were taken at Wednesday at Casey’s General Store, 1315 10th St.
Fort Riley Police went to 824 Frey St. Wednesday afternoon, and at 10:39 p.m. they arrested Brian Latour at that address for desertion. He was held at the Barton County Jail until he was transported by Fort Riley Police.
A burglary was reported at 1700 Third St. Guitars and amps were missing.
An unknown motorist backed into a parked vehicle Wednesday at Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton St., and left the scene.
GBPD was asked to assist the Hays Police Department Wednesday night by picking up evidence from a residence in the 1100 block of Hubbard Street.

Barton County Sheriff
A Polaris RZR off-road vehicle was stolen from 214 SW 40 Ave. sometime between last Friday and Tuesday.
