Great Bend Police
A burglary was reported Wednesday at Acme Scrap, 700 Frey St. Someone entered the building and took money.
Theft of MRE’s (meals ready to eat) was reported at the U.S. Army Reserve, 2222 19th St.
A tow bar was stolen from Marmie Motors 1724 10th St.
A BB or pellet was shot into the front window at Shear Elegance, 3422 Broadway Ave.
A Great Bend resident reported her debit card was stolen in Lawrence.
A male and female were served notices to appear for alleged shoplifting at Walmart.
A woman’s purse was reportedly stolen at Dillons, 1811 Main.
A burglary was reported at 12:04 a.m. Thursday at 811 1/2 Kansas Ave. An unknown person entered the residence and took items.
A gas skip was reported at 2:35 a.m. at 2334 Main.

Barton County Sheriff
At 6:23 a.m. Wednesday, a motorist reported backing into another vehicle in the 200 block of SE 40 Road.
A vehicle struck a bridge at 8:09 a.m. in the 1300 block of West Barton County Road while coming out of a driveway.
A gas can was reportedly stolen from a garage at 503 Third St. in Claflin.
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:25 p.m. at SE 30 Road and SE 70 Ave.
A vehicle hit a deer at 12:03 a.m. Thursday on West U.S. 56 and SW 30 Ave.
