Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs on Friday, three on Saturday, two on Sunday and one on Monday. There was two fire calls.
At 12:30 a.m. on Saturday units responded to the 800 block of Stone Street for power lines arcing. Upon arrival, units found lines arcing, the power company was contacted to correct the problem. Units remained on the scene until the power company arrived.
At 12:35 a.m. on Monday units responded to the county land fill at 350 NE 30 Road for a fire. Upon arrival units found a large area of trash burning. The fire was extinguished with the help of landfill personnel. Units were on the scene for 2.5 hours.

Oct. 10
Criminal damage was reported at Mary’s Kitchen located at 2424 10th St. A window was shattered on the south side of the building. Total loss $500.
Oct. 14
Criminal damage was reported at The Color Clinic located at 700 Main St. The front door glass was shot out with a BB gun. Total loss $500.
Theft of a checkbook from a residence was reported at 5926 Eisenhower Ave.
Theft of a scooter was reported at 3023 Forest Ave. Total loss $200.

Theft of batteries was reported at GMS Motors located at 205 10th St. Total loss $600.
Oct. 16
Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 1501 Broadway Ave. All the windows were shattered out. Total loss $1100.
Oct. 17
Criminal damage was reported at 1219 Polk St.
Burglary was reported at 4805 8th St. A TV was stolen.
A non-injury accident was reported at 10th and Jackson Street.
Burglary was reported at Cherry Village Apartments located at 5926 Eisenhower Ave.

Theft by deception was reported at 577 SW 130 Ave. in Pawnee Rock.
Burglary was reported at McGE Storage Sheds located at 86 SW 10 Ave.
A non-injury accident was reported at Centre and Janell Street.
