Great Bend Police
Two cases of unlawful use of a credit card were reported Friday at Walmart, 3503 10th St.
A forgery was reported by Community Bank of the Midwest.
A burglary was reported at 1712 Third St. A stereo and pellet gun were missing.
A theft was reported Friday night at Walmart.
A man was arrested Saturday evening in the 1100 block of Ninth St. after allegedly committing domestic battery and threatening to kill a woman and her kids. He was booked and held at the jail in lieu of bond.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 2924 Gano St.
GBPD received an outside agency request for assistance from the Norton Police Department at 3:59 a.m. Sunday.
Vehicles driven by Elizabeth Praeger and Darlene Creacy collided in the 3400 block of 10th St. at 11:13 a.m. Sunday, as Praeger was merging onto 10th from Walmart and Creacy was merging onto 10th from Dollar Tree.
Broken windows were reported at 607 Holland St.
A vehicular burglary was reported at 2528 Brush Creek. A DVD was taken.
A metal sign was reportedly stolen from 1302 Jefferson St.
A man who reportedly caused a disturbance Saturday morning in the 1600 block of Morton St. went to the 1900 block of Hubbard St. at 12:25 p.m. and allegedly battered a child and threatened to kill the mother. He later called police to say he would turn himself in, but didn’t. He was arrested at the Hubbard Street residence around 4:48 p.m., booked into jail and released after posting bond.

Great Bend Fire Department
A structure fire at 317 Locust St. was reported at 3:49 a.m. Sunday. It was put out by the GBFD.

Barton County Sheriff
A Chevrolet Equinox hit a deer in the 1000 block of NE 100 Ave. (on the detour between K-156 and K-4) around 6:30 a.m. Friday.
A Dodge Intrepid slid into a ditch on North Washington Ave. and NE 20 Road at 11:32 a.m. Friday.
Theft of copper wire from a field at SE 70 Road and SE 100 Ave. was reported.
At 10:17 p.m. Saturday, a motorist reported he had swerved to miss a deer on NE 60 Road and NE 10 Ave. and damaged his vehicle. He returned to his residence in Great Bend and then called in the reported.
At 12:25 a.m. Monday a women reported hitting a deer on the North Susank Blacktop and NW 220 Road at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, damaging her vehicle.
