Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made nine ambulance runs on Monday. There were three fire calls.
The first call came in at 3:03 p.m. when crews responded to 3515 Broadway Ave. for wood chips smoldering in a parking lot. The next call came in at 8:09 p.m. when firefighters responded to a residence with a stove top fire. Firefighters removed the smoke from the home. The last call came in at 11:05 p.m. for a camper on fire in the 200 Block of North U.S. 281. Estimated $15,000 damage to RV and $5,000 to nearby shed. The fire was extinguished.

Great Bend Police
A non-injury crash was reported at 12th Street and Jackson Avenue.

Barton County Sheriff
An injury crash was reported in the 100 Block of SE 40 Road.
A non-injury crash was reported at NW K-96 at mile marker 167.
A non-injury crash was reported at East K-4 and NE 10 Ave.
