Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Friday, five on Saturday, six on Sunday and six on Monday. There were two fire calls on Saturday.
At 6:02 p.m. units responded to river area south of the compost site found grass burning on the south dike face. The fire was extinguished. At 7:59 p.m. units responded to 1615 16th St. for a report of a fire in the back yard. Upon arrival units found occupants using an approved fire pit with screen.

Theft of chemicals was reported at Burger King located at 3929 10th St.
A narcotics violation was reported at 5808 16th St.

Theft of medication was reported at 721 Williams St.

Oct. 23
A narcotics violation was reported at 5912 Eisenhower Court.
Burglary was reported at 2828 Paseo Drive. Unknown person entered residence and caused damage.
Criminal damage was reported at 2535 Lakin St. Door window was broken out.
A non-injury accident was reported at 1224 Jefferson St.
Theft was reported at Sonic Drive In located at 3909 10th St.

Theft of a Kansas tag was reported at Waters True Value located at 1649 K-96.
A non-injury accident was reported at 10th and Holland Street.

Theft was reported at 416 E B St. in Ellinwood.
A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 220 on K-56.

Criminal damage was reported at 9 Kiowa Road. Two locks were cut of a gate.
Cattle reported out at NW 70 Road and NW 110 Ave.
Burglary was reported at 163 SW 80 Ave. in Pawnee Rock.
A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 141 on K-156.
A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 177 on K-96.
A non-injury accident was reported U.S. 56 in Dundee.
An injury accident was reported at NW 210 Road on U.S. 281. The accident was worked by the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Oct. 23
Theft of a vehicle was reported at SW 20 Ave. and SW 30 Road. The vehicle was later recovered.
Burglary was reported at 673 and U.S. 281 in Hoisington.
Criminal damage was reported at 218 SE 100 Ave. in Ellinwood. A truck was damaged.
A non-injury accident was reported at NE 60 Ave. and NE 130 Road.
A non-injury accident was reported at NE 60 Ave. and NE 130 Road.
