Great Bend Police
A burglary at GMS Motors, 205 10th St., was reported Monday. Cameras were taken.
A hit-and-run vehicle hit a parked vehicle at 5808 16th St. Terrace.
At 5:44 p.m. Monday, police received a report from the 1700 block of 3rd St. of shots fired, possibly to the south. Nothing was found.
Two Kindle devices were reportedly stolen from 1431 22nd St.
A basketball goal was reportedly stolen from 5101 Timber Creek Rd.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit two heifers on South U.S. 281 and SE 50 Road. They were on the roadway and it was reported at 3:37 a.m. Monday, and were there until at least 10:19 a.m. because the rendering truck could not pick them up without knowing who the owners were.
A lock was cut on a fence at 551 SW 30 Road, it was discovered Monday morning.
A burglary was reported at 300 NW 100 Road. Someone broke in and took several items from a shed and off a vehicle.
Great Bend Police Officer Jacob Harlow reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign at Forest and Polk at 11:07 p.m. Monday, and the police car was hit by a GMC Envoy driven by Brashel Powell. No one was injured.
