Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made two ambulance runs Tuesday and three Wednesday. There were no fires, but at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday they responded to a gas spill at 207 Main street.

Great Bend Police
Criminal damage to a residence at 2111 16th St. was reported Wednesday.
A male and female reportedly walked out of the Walmart Supercenter with two televisions around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday. Loss was $506.
A bull at large was in the back yard at 701 Williams St., shortly after 8 p.m.
A battery was reported from the emergency room of Great Bend Regional Hospital at 10:35 p.m., after an individual reported getting into a fight with two unknown males on Eighth Street.
A silver mountain bike was stolen from 2525 Ninth St., it was reported Thursday morning.

Barton County Sheriff
A hit-and-run accident on NE 30 Road and NE 70 Ave. was reported Wednesday morning, after someone drove through a Road and Bridge barricade.
A battery at the Barton County Detention Center was reported at 2:22 p.m. Wednesday.
A burglary at 3408 Railroad Ave. was reported. A shed was broken into sometime in the past two weeks, and approximately $15,000 in property was stolen.
A property owner reported a previous tenant abandoned horses on his land in the 3700 block of Railroad Ave. several weeks ago.
A hawk struck a vehicle on NW 70 Road and north U.S. 281 at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, breaking the windshield.
A rocking chair was left on the edge of the roadway on K-4, east of Hoisington, and was creating a potential traffic hazard at 10:26 p.m.
Officers checked the welfare of a Great Bend resident at the request of the Dodge City Police Department, around 12:02 a.m. Thursday.
