Update

The Oct. 4 fire listed below was at 1220 Holland St., not Lakin Ave., according to a revised report.

Great Bend Police
Vehicles driven by Sonia Garcia and Deidra Mason collided at 11:07 a.m. Friday at 16th and Holland.
Old transmissions and a window air conditioning unit were reported stolen from 701 Holland.
A welder was reported stolen from A One Automotive, 1201 10th St. Loss was $3,000.
Pills were reported stolen from 5501 Ninth St. No. 86.
Vehicles driven by Bailie Foster and Celestine Ofoma collided at 11:33 a.m. Saturday on Washington near 17th St.
Someone damaged the front door at 2000 1/2 Adams St.
Vehicles driven by Elizabeth Rocha and Anne Hawkins collided at 6:04 p.m. Saturday at 10th and Washington.
At 2:53 a.m. Sunday, a Dodge Challenger driven by Archie Ponton collided with a deer in the 200 block of 10th St.
A 2001 Mazda was reported stolen from 1517 Broadway Court on Sunday morning. It was later recovered in the area.
Vehicles driven by Donna Kinpe and Jessica Jeske collided Sunday afternoon in the Walmart parking lot, as both drivers were backing. Kinpe reportedly left the scene but was located and cited.
Jordan Kottas was driving west in the 3200 block of 10th St. at 6:48 p.m. Sunday and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Daniel Holinde. Police report Kottas could not see the other vehicle, due to the sun. Holinde was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital where he was treated and released.

Barton County Sheriff
Two men were treated and released from Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington on Friday after rolling a farm truck on a county road. Shane P. Sonnier, 24, of Sylvan Grove, was driving the 1971 Ford and was westbound in the 100 block of NW 170 Road at 12:40 p.m. when he swerved to avoid a deer. His passenger was Carlos Mendoza III, 30.
A vehicle hit a deer on East U.S. 56 at Kiowa Road at 2:48 a.m. Sunday.
A burglary was 552 SE 30 Road was reported Sunday morning. Someone kicked in the door and took a 12 gauge shotgun and other items, along with a red 1997 Dodge.
A burglary at 111 Centre St. in Pawnee Rock was reported Sunday. A known person is suspected of taking a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer during the night and leaving it by the road on the highway near Larned.
An electric round hay bale trailer was reported stolen from 322 SE 20 Road.
A PT Cruiser hit a raccoon at 8:10 p.m. Sunday on SE 40 Ave. and SE 50 Road.
A smaller passenger car ran over a log at 7th and Heizer in Great Bend at 11:04 p.m. Sunday and was high-centered. (There a old telephone poles around the lot to keep people from driving through the property.)
Tires were slashed on a car at 43 Cheyenne Ridge Road, it was discovered Monday morning.

Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Friday, eight Saturday and seven Sunday.
A structure fire was reported at 8:55 a.m. Friday at 1220 Lakin Ave., at a residence that was not occupied but was being worked on. Damage was described as significant. No other information was available as of Monday evening.
At 8:41 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a report of a possible garage fire at 11th and Morton, where they found an illegal fire pit. At 10:27 a.m. Saturday there was a small fuel spill at the Kwik Shop at 24th and Main.
A carbon monoxide detector alarm at 4:25 p.m. Saturday was caused by a low battery.
