 Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Thursday. There were no fires, but there were two false alarms caused by system malfunctions.

Barton County Sheriff
A Kenworth truck went into the ditch at 1:44 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of NW 190 Road.
A suspected burglary in progress was reported at 2:32 a.m. Friday at an address on NW 50 Ave. Two deputies responded.

Great Bend Police
Theft of power tools from 301 Heizer St. was reported Thursday.
Vehicles driven by Karina Miranda-Sinahui and Shawnee Cross collided at 1 p.m. at 10th and Williams.
A handicap placard was reportedly stolen from 2112 Monroe St.
A vehicle driven by Rosa Poblano was backing in the 900 block of Williams St. at 2:18 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Winnie Kingsbury, who was stopped in traffic.
A juvenile shoplifting at Dillons, 1811 Main, was reported at 4:47 p.m.
A maroon Next-brand bicycle was found on 12th St.
Someone reportedly entered a residence at 1203 Van Buren.
