Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made two ambulance runs on Monday. There was one fire call, at 10:10 p.m. units responded to a camper on fire. Upon arrival found a small camper and the occupant outside stated the regulator where the propane feeds his furnace and water heater caught fire and he was able to turn the propane bottle off and use a dry chemical extinguisher to put the fire out. There was light smoke in the camper which was vented by the crews as well as confirming the fire was completely extinguished. Estimated damage $500.00

Great Bend Police
A vehicle was backing up and struck a parked vehicle at 2027 Morton St.
Criminal damage was reported at 209 Hickory St. A vehicle was damaged.
A hit and run was reported. A unknown vehicle struck another vehicle in the 1300 block of K-96.
Items stolen at 1209 Washington St.

Barton County Sheriff
A non-injury accident occurred at NE K-156 and NE 110 Ave. A vehicle hit a deer.
A house was broken into at 287 SW 20 Ave.
A non-injury accident occurred Sunday morning at 3 a.m. in Olmitz.
