A pursuit was reported at 10:34 p.m. after a subject fled from Kansas Highway Patrol at mile marker 203 on U.S. 56. The Great Bend Police Department was also on standby.
Great Bend Fire/EMS
A stubble fire was reported at 2:01 p.m. Tuesday in a field at 367 South U.S. 281, Great Bend.
There was one false alarm caused by a smoke detector malfunction. Emergency Medical Service responded to four calls.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:44 a.m. Tuesday at 10th and Washington.
A hit-and-run crash was reported just before noon at Lakin and Roosevelt. The suspect vehicle was an older red Camero or Firebird.
A non-injury crash was reported at 12:49 p.m. at 3801 19th St.
A battery was reported at 5:10 p.m. at 6013 Aspen Dr. Daelan Barr was arrested and booked in lieu of $500 bond.
