A K-9 was called out at 12:29 a.m. Tuesday at 7th and Morton, Great Bend.
Criminal damage to property was reported at 318 Sunset Rd., Great Bend.
A burglary in progress was reported at 9:47 p.m. at 210 Hubbard St., Great Bend.
Great Bend Police
A theft was reported Tuesday at 1516 16th St.
Central Kansas Orthopedic, 1514 K-96, reported its computer system being hacked and a ransom demanded.
Illegal trash dumping was reported at the compost site.
A non-injury crash was reported at 9:12 p.m. at Taco Bell, 3607 10th St.
Police also responded to the burglary report at 210 Hubbard St. after the reporting party thought someone was possibly inside the residence. Nothing was found.
Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters responded to unauthorized burns at 5:52 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Morton and at 7:15 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Patton Road. There was also a false alarm on Sunday.
There was a report of a smoke smell in the Club 1 Fitness Building, 3806 Broadway Ave., at 5:29 a.m. Wednesday. Firefighters responded but found nothing on fire.
There were five Emergency Medical Service calls last Thursday, three Saturday, five Sunday, six Monday and two Tuesday.
