Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 1302 Frey St. at 10:15 a.m. Friday.

Theft of Kansas license tag #846EPB was reported at 3:19 p.m. Friday. It was entered into the National Crime Information Center database.

A scam phone call was reported at Walmart at 4:25 p.m. Friday.

Criminal threats were reported at 10:37 p.m. Friday. Michael Philbern was arrested and booked for criminal threat domestic violence. He was released Sunday after posting bond.

Criminal damage was reported at 1216 Morphy St. at 12:59 p.m. Saturday.

A battery was reported at 12:26 a.m. Sunday. Mario Lira was arrested for domestic violence battery and was released after posting bond.


Barton County Sheriff

A theft was reported at 9:07 a.m. Friday at NE 140 Avenue and NE 150 Road, Claflin.

A small grass fire was reported at 1:53 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Main Street, Great Bend. GBFD responded and extinguished the fire. No structural damage or injuries were reported.

A battery was reported at 2:33 p.m. Saturday at the Barton County Sheriff’s Office.

A burglary/in-progress was reported at 11:52 p.m. Sunday at 469 SE 60 Ave., Great Bend.
