Great Bend Fire/EMS
Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had seven ambulance runs Monday.
Firefighters responded to several structure fire reports Monday and one smoke detector activation at the High Rise, 1100 Kansas Ave.
At approximately 11:39 a.m., GBFD responded to the 600 block of Main Street (also reported as 614 Byers Ave.) in Heizer and at approximately 2:25 p.m. responded to a barn fire five miles west of Heizer at K-96, at 573 NW 110 Ave. (Follow this link for details on these fires.)
At approximately 6:04 p.m., the department responded to a kitchen fire at 300 Evergreen St. in Great Bend.
Great Bend Police
A sex offense was reported at 8:58 p.m. Monday.
A non-injury crash was reported at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday at Great Bend High School, 2424 19th St.
Barton County Sheriff
A non-injury crash was reported at 5:59 a.m. Monday on West Barton County Road and SW 100.
A non-injury crash was reported at 7:15 a.m. on West Barton County Road and SW 120.
A non-injury crash was reported at 2:05 p.m. in the 600 block of North U.S. 281, Hoisington.
A fraud case was reported at 181 A NE 40 Road, Great Bend.
