EMS made eight ambulance runs Friday, four Saturday, six Sunday and 11 Monday.

An outside agency assist request was made for a drug recognition evaluator (DRE) at the Barton County Detention Center, 1408 Kansas Ave., at 2:02 a.m. Friday.

A non-injury crash was reported at Jefferson Elementary, 2716 24th St., at 8:34 a.m. Friday.

A report of a fight was made at Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton St., at 9:14 a.m. Friday. A battery case was taken by the School Resource Officer.

A battery was reported and case taken on a juvenile complaint at the Family Crisis Center, 2222 Forest Ave., at 4:37 p.m. Friday. 

A theft was reported at 1906 Main St., at 8:43 p.m. Friday, after a male took items from the store.

A wallet was booked into evidence as found property, at Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton St., at 11:30 p.m. Friday.

A report of narcotics violation was made at Presto-Circle K (Break-Time) at 2337 Washington St., at 1:53 a.m. Saturday. A man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia and was booked in lieu of bond.

An injury crash was reported at Walmart, 3503 10th St., at 7:57 a.m. on Saturday, when an eastbound vehicle in the parking lot struck a pole, causing the vehicle to roll onto its top. The driver refused treatment at the scene.

A non-injury crash involving two vehicles was reported at 809 Pine St., at 12:46 p.m. on Saturday.

A large fight in the area of the 2100 block of Railroad Ave. was reported at 1:04 a.m. on Sunday.

A report of a fraud was made when a person paid $100 to buy an item off of the internet but has not received the item.

A man reported criminal damage was done to his car while it parked at Cedar Crest Apartments, 810 Coolidge St., at 4:16 p.m. Sunday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2820 23rd St., at 7:25 a.m. on Monday.

An assault was reported in the 2900 block of 29th St. at 6:39 p.m. Monday. A man was arrested for aggravated assault and interference and booked into jail.

A narcotics violation was reported in the 700 block of Hubbard at 1:01 a.m. Tuesday. A man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, no driver’s license, and other traffic violations. He was booked into jail.


Barton County Sheriff 

A non-injury crash was reported at mile marker 167, NW K-96, Albert, at 7:17 a.m. on Friday.

An injury crash was reported in the 100 block NE 20 Road, Great Bend, at 2:59 p.m. Friday. After the vehicle clipped a telephone pole, two females in the vehicle were treated for injuries and were released.

A burglary in progress was reported at 4:03 p.m. Friday at 171 SE 1 Ave., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported in the 1800 block of N. U.S. 281, Great Bend, at 7:06 p.m. on Friday.

A non-injury crash was reported at NW 30 Ave and NW 30 Road, Barton County, at 9:06 p.m. on Saturday.

A non-injury crash was reported at U.S. 281 and mile marker 114, Barton County, at 12:19 a.m. on Sunday.

A burglary not in progress was reported Sunday at 1192 NE 200 Rd., Claflin.

A non-injury crash was reported at NE K-156 and mile marker 131 at 9:21 p.m. on Sunday.

A non-injury crash was reported at NE K-156 and NE 130 Ave, Barton County, at 4:53 a.m. Monday. 

A non-injury crash was reported at NE K-156 and between mile markers 134 and 135, Great Bend, at 10:29 a.m. Monday.

A non-injury crash was reported at K-4 and Otis at 12:47 p.m. Monday.

An injury crash was reported at U.S. 281 and NE 30 Road at 5:32 p.m. Monday.
