Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Service had three ambulance runs on Friday, eight on Saturday and five on Sunday.

Great Bend firefighters responded to one false alarm Friday and one alarm malfunction Saturday. On Sunday, firefighters extinguished a trash fire at 4800 10th St. at 8:31 a.m. and then extinguished a fire pit fire at 3900 Dike Road at 8:35 a.m.

A K-9 callout was utilized at 12:30 a.m. Friday at SE 140 Ave. and SE 50 Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:20 a.m. at 3718 23rd St.

A report of railroad crossing malfunction was received at 10:46 a.m. at Forest Ave. and Grant.

Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 11:02 a.m. at 417 Buckeye St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:04 p.m. at the Barton County Courthouse, 1500 Kansas Ave.

Theft of medications was reported at 1:12 p.m. at 1908 Seventh St.

A domestic incident was reported at 9:47 p.m. at 301 Locust St.

A criminal trespass was reported at 9:52 p.m. at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

A domestic incident was reported at 11:48 p.m. at 2519 17th St.

A structure fire was reported at 8:21 a.m. Saturday at 3208 27th St.

A domestic incident was reported at 11:24 a.m. at 1404 19th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:15 p.m. at 10th and Main.

A shoplifting theft was reported at 5:38 p.m. at Walmart.

A fire was reported at 8:29 Sunday in the 100 block of SW 10 Ave., Great Bend.

A fire was reported at 8:33 a.m. at Buff’s Car Wash, 4800 10th St.

A K-9 callout was utilized at a narcotics violation reported at 9:42 p.m. at Braum’s, 4209 10th St.

A K-9 callout was utilized at 11:46 p.m. at SW 30 Ave. and W. U.S. 56.

A K-9 callout was utilized at a traffic stop at 4:35 a.m. Monday at 10th and Sheridan.


Barton County Sheriff

A fire was reported at 8:06 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of E. U.S. 56, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:15 at NE 90 Ave. and E. K-4, Barton County.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:19 p.m. Saturday at 4 NW 30 Road, Great Bend.

A domestic incident was reported at 9:07 p.m. at 451 SE 60 Ave., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:42 a.m. Sunday at NW 220 Road and N. U.S. 281, Galatia.

A fire was reported at 8:29 a.m. in the 100 block of SW 10 Ave., Great Bend.

There was a report of shots fired at 3:06 p.m. in the 6000 block Hemlock Drive, Great Bend.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 9:16 p.m. at 4 NW 30 Ave., Great Bend.
