Shortly before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, law enforcement received a report that a man who was driving toward Great Bend was intoxicated and threatening family members. It was also reported there were three other passengers in the car, including a 4-month-old child.

The suspect was located and stopped by the Barton County Sheriff’s Office in the 500 block of McKinley St. He was arrested for driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and driving left of center.
