Search warrant executed in Hoisington

HOISINGTON — A search warrant executed around 1:16 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, at 253 South Center Street in Hoisington yielded suspected methamphetamine and resulted in one arrest, Hoisington Police Captain Josh Nickerson reported.

Cori Galliart, 33, of Hoisington was booked into the Barton County Detention Center on charges possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, and on an outstanding warrant for parole violation. He is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond on the drug charges and no bond for the alleged parole violation.

Hoisington Police Department was assisted by the Great Bend Police Department, Barton County Sheriff’s Office and a parole officer with the Kansas Department of Corrections.
