Three missing girls found
Three teenage girls who had been missing since Sunday night were found Friday afternoon in Great Bend.
The Great Bend Tribune posted the names and descriptions of the girls on its website Friday morning. Detective David Bailey at the Great Bend Police Department contacted the Tribune around 2 p.m. Friday, to report all three of the girls had been found at a residence in the 300 block of Maple St.
One 16-year-old and two 14-year-olds reportedly ran away together. They had last been seen around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, running down an alley in the 1400 block of Stone Street.
Bailey said the girls were all safe, and that the investigation into the incident was continuing.

Theft of a stereo from a vehicle at 2801 19th St. was reported Thursday.
Theft of license tags from a vehicles at 1919 Heizer St., Apts. A and B, was reported Thursday.
Jason Weaver was southbound on Harrison Street at 6:21 p.m. Thursday and failed to yield from the stop sign, striking a vehicle driven by Ubaldo Ramirez that was eastbound on Broadway. The Ramirez vehicle then struck a vehicle driven by Steven Swigart that was northbound on Harrison, stopped in traffic.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the 2300 block of Main Street on Thursday.
Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs on Tuesday, three on Wednesday and four on Thursday. They performed one carbon monoxide check Friday morning.
There were no fires.
