ELLSWORTH COUNTY — A semi-tractor driver was injured in an accident at 3:15 a.m. Thursday in Ellsworth County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The patrol reports a 2015 International semi driven by 27-year-old Joseph Dyer, Paris, Tenn., was moving westbound on Interstate 70, east of 12th Road at mile marker 217.
The semi left the roadway and the vehicle spun onto the median. Dyer over-corrected and the semi pulling a 2005 utility trailer rolled onto its side.
Dyer was transported to the Ellsworth County Medical Center. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
