The Barton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of tractor parts, which reportedly occurred Thursday night at 1200 NE 50 Ave. and North U.S. 281. The victim said a shed door was torn open and a tractor had been dismantled with parts missing. Another tractor had been partially dismantled.

Deputies also received a report Sunday night that someone had broken into a camper at 30 SE 20 Road and taken off the doors, hood, dash gauges, air conditioning vents, bench seat and wiring.
