Its no longer a rumor: "Full House" is officially coming back. Just ask Uncle Jesse.

John Stamos, who portrayed the tough, but lovable Jesse Katsopolis in the ABC family-friendly comedy of the late 1980s and early 1990s, told Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night that the show is ready to take off once again.

According to Stamos, Netflix has ordered 13 new episodes, and the show, now called "Fuller House," will premiere in 2016.

Although full details about the show are yet to be released, we do know that there will once again be a strong family angle. Stamos, who will produce and guest star in the series, mentioned that the opening episode will be one hour long and will feature DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron-Bure) and her three kids, alongside her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and the mischievous Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).
