One of Hollywoods most positive and uplifting actors just came clean about his depression.

Dwayne The Rock Johnson, star of the Fast and Furious films and known for his professional wrestling career, recently spoke on OWN Networks "Oprahs Master Class series, where he talked about how he suffered depression when his college football career didnt work out, according to The Huffington Post.

After hitting a low point, Johnson whos known for his uplifting and encouraging Instagram posts in addition to his acting found inspiration that eventually led him to become a professional wrestler and then a Hollywood hit actor later on.

"I found that, with depression, one of the most important things you could realize is that you're not alone," Johnson said. "You're not the first to go through it; you're not going to be the last to go through it I wish I had someone at that time who could just pull me aside and (say), 'Hey, it's gonna be OK. It'll be OK.'"

Its also important to stay faithful and believe youll find happiness again, he said.

"Hold on to that fundamental quality of faith," Johnson said. "Have faith that on the other side of your pain is something good."
