IMAGINATION LAND When you're a kid, few things are as exciting as a trip to Disneyland.
Unfortunately, as most parents know all too well, tickets to the happiest place on Earth cost a fortune, and that's before you add in travel expenses.
That's where this genius idea comes in. The creative dad behind the idea documented it in a video called "Poor people roller coaster," and parents, you'll want to watch.
In the video, the dad shows his makeshift roller coaster setup that involves only a TV, a bucket and some good old-fashioned quality time the three things you need to make any kid happy. Using this setup, Dad simulates a pretty accurate (assuming you've never experienced the real thing) roller coaster ride for his 2-year-old daughter Autumn, and she absolutely loves it.
Not only is this a great idea, but it's super sweet to see this dad putting in this effort to make his daughter happy. Apparently, Autumn really wanted to go to Disneyland, but tickets were too expensive, so her dad improvised a bit. Everyone loved the idea so much that he decided to create a GoFundMe account* so Autumn could finally experience the real thing. The fundraiser surpassed its goal, so little Autumn is probably in for a treat soon.
I'm sure she'll enjoy Disneyland, but I'd also be willing to bet that she cherishes this little memory of her on-the-spot fun with Dad just as much.
Watch the video and then let us know in the comments what creative ideas led to your favorite childhood memories.
