THE DOCKS Some of us are mechanically minded, using innovation to solve the everyday problems in life. Im looking at you MacGyver.
OK, so MacGyvers techniques arent exactly real life, often drawing viability and practicality into question. But there are plenty of people claiming they have small solutions to everyday problems, and these days theyre called life hacks.
Sure, some of the solutions are to problems you didnt know you had, meaning you werent really looking for a solution in the first place, but that doesnt stop several websites from inundating the Internet with ideas.
Many of these hacks are harmless and even at times helpful, some spur-of-the-moment solutions are nothing but a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad idea.
In this video, someone decides they need to get a pickup truck onto a boat, but find themselves without a proper ramp. They set up two tire-wide boards between the dock and the boat, then attempt to drive the truck over.
I wont tell you what happens, but I 100 percent recommend watching it. I watched it four times and got sweaty palms every time. Its one of those youve-got-to-see-it-to-believe-it situations.
