ELKO, Nev. — Allan V. Aksmit, 83, died Oct. 12, 2012.
Born Dec. 23, 1928, in rural Lucas, he was a lifelong cowboy.
Survivors include two brothers, Carroll Aksmit, Sausalito, Calif.; and Richard Aksmit, Russellville, Ark.; two sisters, Patricia Koch, Great Bend; and Camilla Kay Smith, Alexandria, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lucas Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice.
