HUTCHINSON — Ann Pauline Tissue, 74, died Jan. 18, 2013 at her home in Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 19, 1938 in Stafford, Ks, the daughter of Paul and Oleta Bardwell.
Raised in Seward, she attended and graduated from Radium High School in 1956. In 1990, she retired from AT&T after working as an operator for 34 years.  She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
Ann was a very talented and avid quilter.  She made quilts to make others happy, giving her quilts freely to nursing homes, women’s shelters, as well as to several silent auctions to help people she never met.
Survivors include: two daughters, Dee Stucky and husband Terry, Pretty Prairie, and Mary Gossman and husband Kevan; two brothers, John Bardwell and wife Beverly, Hutchinson, and James Bardwell and wife Donna, Joshua, Texas; two sisters, Linda Gallion and husband Fred, North Port, Fla., and Mary Doonan, Wichita; six grandchildren, Zachary Sieg, David Deming, Maegan Lobban and husband Cody, Bryce Stucky, Carissa Gossman, and Annaliese Gossman; and four great-grandchildren, Keller, Harley, Paul, and Phillip.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Deming, and her parents.  
Cremation has taken place.  A committal blessing will be 10 a.m., Monday Jan. 21, at Penwell Gabel Cemetery Mausoleum, Hutchinson.  Friends may sign the register book Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with family present Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, Hutchinson.
