Antonio Castro Salazar, 51, passed away on April 30, 2016, at Great Bend Regional Hospital after a sudden illness. Born on April 17, 1965, at Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico, he was the son of Adolfo Castro Vasquez and Antonia Salazar. On April 27, 1997, he was united in marriage to Raquel Urias in Santa Ana, Calif. He moved with his family to Great Bend in July of 2010. Antonio worked for Red Barn Pet Products in Great Bend for the past four years.
He enjoyed fishing, auto repair, spending time outdoors and spending time with his family.
Antonio attended the First Assembly of God Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include his wife, Raquel Urias Castro of Great Bend; two sons, Rodrigo Antonio Castro and Daniel Castro, both of Great Bend; two daughters, Judith Castro and Michelle Castro, both of Great Bend; one grandson, Vince Castro; six brothers, Luis, Sylvester, Manuel, Adolfo, Mauricio and Victor Castro, all of Mexico; and one sister, Josefina Castro of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Francisco and Lorenzo Castro.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 6, at Charter Funerals in Great Bend. Cremation will follow. Memorials may be made in care of the family. Online condolences may be left for the family and a complete obituary viewed at http://www.charterfunerals.com/locations/great-bend.php.
