Barbara Bushnell 1919-2011       
SALINA — Barbara Bushnell, 91, died April 9 at Sterling House Fairdale, Salina.
She was born September 9, 1919, at Great Bend, the daughter of Roscoe Paul and Nina Pearl (Batchman) Moore.
Barbara was a Great Bend High School graduate. She married Owen R. Bushnell October 5, 1945 at Wellington. He died July 2, 1989. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Bushnell was a lifetime Great Bend resident, living in Salina since August 2008. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ and a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star Golden Sheaf Chapter 226, both of Great Bend.
Survivors include her nephews: John R. Cooper, Salina; Robert Cooper, Tulsa, Okla.; a niece, Cris Polkinhorn, Reno, Nev.; and six great-nieces and nephews; six great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, June Cooper.
A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 13 at the Great Bend Cemetery with Officiant The Reverend Stan Crawford. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
