WICHITA — Barbara G. Beck Godfrey, 75, passed away on Feb. 11. Born April 5, 1937 in McPherson, she was the daughter of Orlin and Violet (Blanke) Krehbiel. Barbara worked as an administrative assistant, most recently at St. Patrick’s Parish where she retired after 20 years of service. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, playing cards, attending antique car shows, and spending time with friends and family.  
Survivors include her husband of six years, John “Jack” Godfrey; children, Debora (Greg) Winkler, Steve (Annette) Beck, and Laurie Beck; siblings, Connie (Larry) Hammer and Gary (Kay) Krehbiel; grandchildren, Jeff Wright, Holly Wright, Brett Winkler, Lisa Beck, and Brian Beck; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 41 years, Jerome Beck in 1999.   
Rosary will be held 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Wichita. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Wichita with entombment following at Resurrection Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 3030 N. Amidon Ave, Wichita, KS 67204 or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
