Bennie Lou Moos, 69, died Aug. 24, at Hays Medical Center. Born June 18, 1945, in Hoisington, she was the daughter of Leon and Vanonda (Wise) Gray. On April 28, 1962, she married Don J. Leiker in Great Bend. They were later divorced. She then married Lyle L. Workman. He passed away in 2003. She then married Robert W. Moos on May 2, 2013, in Great Bend. He survives. A resident of Great Bend since 1986, coming from WaKeeney where she had resided since 1971, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, craft work, floral arranging and music.
Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Moos, of the home; four sons, Troy Leiker and wife Dorothy  of WaKeeney, Gary Leiker and wife Maria and Chad Leiker and wife Melissa, all of Great Bend, and Darron Leiker and wife Beth of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sisters, Susan Allen of Joplin, Mo. and Ruth Ann Carson of Hot Springs, Ark.; nine step-children; 20 grandchildren; and six great -grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Gray; mother, Vanonda Wise Marshall; brother, Rick Gray; and a sister, Tonda Lee McAvoy.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home with Father Don Bedore officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Great Bend. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Bennie Moos Expense Fund in care of the funeral home.
