ALBERT — Betty Lou Goodman, 77, died Feb. 1 at Hospice House in Hutchinson. Born Feb, 11, 1934, on the family farm in Albert, she was the daughter of John and Katie (Diehl) Moore. She was a retired baker and cook for Furr’s.
Survivors include a son, Michael Goodman of Haven; two daughters, Carla (Bob) Barnes of Hutchinson and Connie Kirby of Sterling.; a brother, Glenn Moore of Albert; five grandchildren, Jason (Shari) Goodman, Tracy (Wiley) Proffett, Christina (Eric) Pierce, Joey (Karla) Pierce, and McKenzie (Jeremy) Flickinger; eight great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Matthew, Mason, Landon, Zackary, Aiden, Kinly, and Jacey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Goodman; two sons, Earl Eugene Goodman and Larry Dean Goodman; a great-grandson, Cutter Profett; brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, at Medora Community Bible Church. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at the Great Bend Cemetery. Memorials have been established with the Medora Community Bible Church, 8311 Medora Road, Hutchinson, Kansas 67502.
