Billy Wayne “Bill” Brack    1930 - 2014

Billy Wayne “Bill” Brack, 84, died July 26, at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Born April 24, 1930, in Albert, he was the son of Phillip and Susie (Brack) Brack. On July 20, 1952, he married Gladys Harders in Great Bend. A Great Bend resident since 1997 coming from rural Otis, Bill was a farmer and had worked for U.S.D. 428 Food Service, retiring in 1993.
Mr. Brack attended Our Savior Lutheran Church and was a member of the Silver Cougar Club, both of Great Bend.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Brack, of the home; four sons, Paul Brack and wife Karen, of Paola, Mark Brack and wife Lisa, of Albert, Charles Brack and wife Tammy, of Sedgwick, and Norman Brack and wife Vickie of Beauford, Mo.; two daughters, Mary Kellogg and husband Chris, of Sedalia, Mo. and Judy Ray and husband Martin, of Winfield; one sister, Velda Hess of Rose Hill; one brother, Orlett Brack of Sioux Falls, S.D.; 23 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, infant Maynard, Jay Dean, Virgil, LaVern, and Hilmer Brack; and two infant sisters, Lola Veda and Shirley Brack.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Great Bend with the Rev. Garry Dassow officiating. Burial will be at the Pioneer Township Cemetery in Otis. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bryant Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
