Bonnie (Miller) Mink 1953 - 2014

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Bonnie (Miller) Mink, 60, died April 9 at her home. Born on Nov. 12, 1953, in Kansas City, Mo., she was the daughter of Dwight C. Miller Jr. and Helen (Ball) Miller. She graduated from Ruskin High School in Kansas City, Mo. and attended Southwest Missouri State University, where she met her husband of 42 years, Ron Mink. They married in December 1972, in Kansas City. She was an avid music lover, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Ron of the home; daughter, Jessica Nelson (Andrew) of Great Bend; son, Detective Grant Mink (Aubrey) of Topeka; four granddaughters, Emilee and Victoria Nelson and Scarlet and Ivy Mink; three sisters, Beverly Meadows of Osprey, Fla., Marilyn Swink of Springfield, Mo., and Lynn Barrick of Phoenix, Ariz.; and numerous  nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Ronald V. Mink; sister, Nancy Miller; and brother, Chip Miller.  
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 14 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, Springfield, with burial to follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family has requested memorial donations be made to the Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Foundation, 101 South Reid St., Suite 202, Sioux Falls, SD  57103.
