STAFFORD — Boonkruer “Kua” Dickson was born in Pakthongchai, Thailand Oct. 9, 1936. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, Feb. 28, 2022. She grew up in Pakthongchai and contributed to her family’s silk business. She later began a catering service. She met her husband of 51 years in Thailand and moved to the United States where they were married in 1971 in Temple, Texas, then raised a family in Stafford, Kan. She worked for many years at Leisure Homestead in Stafford. She continued catering her delicious food and selling her many canned goods and vegetables from her incredible garden at local farmers markets. She will always be known for her infectious laugh, warm smile, and spicy personality. 

Kua was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; and siblings. She is survived by her husband Rodney; daughter, Seangduen (Bob) Soule, son, Prasan “Bot” Meechiakum, son, Robert (AnnaMaria) Dickson, and daughter, Tuanua (Josh) Swartz; grandchildren, Anthony, Kimberly, Lindsay (Scott), Vincent (Robert), Heylie (Ahmed), Brandon (Demi), Mattelyn, Jackson, Makayla, and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Siynatee, Antonio, Greyson, Isabella, Lucas, Lennon, Xaidyn, Alice, and Rainbow; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Her nephews Saylath and Vonlobe Souphanh will lead the family in a traditional Thai funeral. Visitation: Thursday, March 3, 2022 and Friday, March 4, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. Traditional Buddhist Funeral: 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022, all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S.
