NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — Brenda Lee Urban (nee Hanks), age 68, of North Ridgeville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at the Cleveland Clinic following surgery. She was born in Conroe, Texas, grew up in Great Bend and had spent most of her life in Dodge City before moving to North Ridgeville, Ohio, in 2015.
She spent her career working in the medical field as a home health aide and then as a pharmacy technician before retiring. After retirement, Brenda secured her favorite position, as caretaker of her grandson, Noah. Brenda took care of Noah for the past two and one half years.
Survivors include her son, Eric Urban of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Amy Urban of North Ridgeville, Ohio, with whom she resided; grandson, Noah Lee Lindal; step-grandchildren, Madeline (Austin) Liming of Manhattan, Nathaniel Lindal and John Lindal both of North Ridgeville, Ohio; and brother, David (Donna) Hanks of Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Ruth (nee Dafft) Hanks and her sister, Sharon A. Hanks.
Services will be private.
